I have tried a few coffees that have a blend of beans from different areas of the world and I tend to not like them as much as blends where they are found in the same region. Maybe this is down to my own flavor presences. What do you think?ย
I don't think the location matters as much as the type of bean.
You can get very similar beans half way around the world from one another but if they aren't the right flavour profile, they won't blend well together. Does that make sense?

Yes, I suppose that does make sense. I have to wonder if sourcing locations deal more with cost in this case. I know there are all sorts of different beans but the flavours of said beans, isn't as diverse as one would think. At least not in my experience.ย

I never really noticed to be fair. I tend not to get that deep into coffee in terms of locations and such. I just like a good bean and a good blend. Regardless of where it originates from.ย
