Have you ever done a black & tan blend?ย

I heard that it offers a better taste profile for those wanting to avoid a bitter coffee. It uses medium and dark roasted coffee beans in the blend and retains the earthy flavour while counter-balancing the bitterness.

I have had it a few times from a few different places. This one coffee shop I went to while on vacation marketed it as a cup of "spotted dog". They also had a light and dark blend which to me, doesn't sound like it would be as good.ย

Huh, that is a clever name for it! I agree I don't think blending a light and dark would be good but Medium and dark sounds appealing. I will have to give it a try soon.ย

Yes, I have. I quite like the balance. I am not a fan of strong coffee. In fact, I drink pretty much nothing but blended/mixed coffee drinks so I want to avoid the bitterness almost entirely. This bean blend does just that!
