A drink I started doing this past summer on warmer days, I love it. I consider it a late morning or lunch coffee as it is on the sweeter side. I will use about 120 ml of cold brew mixed with about 240 ml of milk. I add in a caramel syrup (I buy Smucker's Caramel Sundae Syrup on Amazon), and a touch of sugar and mix it all together. I then put ice in a glass and pour the mixture over it and top it with squirty cream. If I want extra sweetness I will put some of the syrup on the sides of the glass before adding the ice and coffee. It is a very nice drink, similar to a Starbucks caramel frappuccino flavour.ย
That sounds like a very rich dessert drink. I may have to try it as I do enjoy the combo of caramel with coffee. What sort of ice do you use? Fine shaved, bits, or whole chunks?ย
I use just standard ice cubes but you can use whatever you'd like. If you want it to be a thicker drink, you use shamed/finely crushed ice and blend it with a thickening agent.ย
