There was a report done by scientists over the the Britain’s Royal Botanic Gardens that is quite alarming. They speak about how as much as 60% of the wild coffee species we have now could disappear for good in the next few decades. Arabica is projected to be cut in half by 2050 due to the challenges of climate change and this doesn't even factor in issues of pests or fungal spreads!
I heard something about this. I think they are mostly guessing. It could happen, or it may not. Patterns suggest it is possible. I am not going to panic. I would not be shocked if this kind of talk is just to make coffee beans more expensive. Most higher ups going on and on about the climate could stand to make money one way or another.

That is fair. A lot of the climate issues we face have been showing patterns of reversing. I think the o-zone layer is going to be completely restored in the next 50 years marker suggest which is amazing! I have to wonder if this will cool off the planet more.
