I am very picky when it comes to espresso. I will be in London for a few days and want to find a nice place that has great espresso. I had it once whilst in London a few years ago and did not like it. I can't recall the cafe name either but I know if it gets mentioned, it will ring a bell. My local place has amazing espresso that I get most mornings before work.
London's Soho area has an amazing place, Algerian Coffee Shop. It has been around for a long time and is recommended by a lot of people, especially Italians. So that says a lot! Last I was there, it was only £1 for a standard cup.

Perfect timing! I am heading up to London in the AM so I will check this spot out. It is a bit of a drive so I will likely need some coffee before I go but I will make a point to go here for a second pick-me-up.
