So I attempted this a number of times. It seems the best one was the first attempt although it was rather sour or bitter. I have tried a few other times and each time I end up with the same result of the coffee being very weak and watery. It is as if I let ice cubes melt into my coffee. It is not good. What am I doing wrong?ย
I am by no means an expert with pour-over coffee but I think I know what your issue is. When the coffee compounds are not broken down enough in the water, it will not blend so you end up with coffee flavored water. You are either adding too much water, the water is not hot enough or the grind is not fine enough.ย

Oh, okay! I am going to make some adjustments and try again tomorrow. Thanks for trying to help me sort this. I asked on another site and no one responded to me. I have found some information saying what you mentioned but not in details I could understand as easily.ย

Sounds good! Let me know how it went. I know it can be a bit tricky the first few times to get this method just right. I have issues with it myself. Once you find out what works for you, you stick with it!
