I just ordered this book on Amazon. It will be arriving tomorrow. I am curious to see if anyone here had read it.ย
I am learning more about James Hoffman and wanted to get a book from his perspective of the world of coffee. It sounds fascinating!
Coffee has never been better, or more interesting, than it is today. Coffee producers have access to more varieties and techniques than ever before and we, as consumers, can share in that expertise to make sure the coffee we drink is the best we can find. Where coffee comes from, how it was harvested, the roasting process and the water used to make the brew are just a few of the factors that influence the taste of what we drink. Champion barista and coffee expert James Hoffmann examines these key factors.
I never actually read it but I did browse it once at a coffee shop. I think for anyone that wants to know more about coffee, it would be a good read. I just am only interested in what I already life.
The local cafe has this book and many others on the tables. I glanced through it whilst waiting for my coffee. I can't say I was blown away or it made me want to buy the book, but then again I am not much of a reader.ย
I have been reading it on and off the last week or so and I am enjoying it. I think it had been a great read thus far. I am a very slow reader and mostly have been reading it on my break at work.
