Fruity, Winey, Sweet

Description

Whether you enjoy a fruity filter coffee or a complex, bright espresso, Ethiopia Limu delivers a wild, winey cup that showcases the best of Ethiopian speciality coffee.

One of our favourite coffees here at CoffeeHype. This coffee highlights to us how delicious Ethiopian coffee is. It is wild, winey and yet full bodied. It is similar to our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee but not as floral.

Our Limu is grown at about 1600 masl in the Oromia region of south west Ethiopia and is a mix of coffee beans from just six farms of the Eastern African Heirloom varieties.

Flavour Profile

This coffee is fruity, winey and sweet. As a filter coffee, it delivers bright, juicy fruit notes with a wine-like complexity. As an espresso, it becomes complex and bright, with the same fruity character shining through. The body is full and satisfying without being heavy.
